Thanks to Cath’s (@thecuriouscat99) translation, the reveal of the manga will initially be available for audiences in Japan. However, it will eventually be translated into nine other languages including English. The short story can be read here in all its seven pages of glory. For those who can’t wait until the official English translation, a scanlation group called Project Vinland already has it covered.
The one-shot is a crossover between Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and the acclaimed Viking manga series by Yukimura titled Vinland Saga. In the short 6 pages of illustration, male Eivor crosses paths with the latter’s main character Thorfinn. Yukimura did a fantastic job at capturing Eivor’s daunting and powerful presence.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla launches on November 20th, 2020 for PC, Xbox One, Stadia, PS4. It’s also coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X once those consoles debut.
