The Armory is Here – Update 2.5.0 for Diablo 3 Now Available for all Platforms (VIDEO)

Last month, Blizzard shared news of update 2.5.0 making it to the public test region. Not only is this patch enormous, it’s pretty much an overhaul of adjustments and brand new additions to the game. Don’t Feed the Gamers wrote up the full patch notes when it was ready for PTR, but there may have been a few changes since then. When the development team introduced the idea of an Armory, it almost seemed like a game changer. Diablo 3 is all about theory crafting and creating the best skill and armor builds you can in order to reach higher difficulty levels. With the introduction of the Armory, players can instantly switch between varying skill builds, armor sets, passive, gems, and variations of Kanai’s cube powers. Unfortunately, it does not act as extra inventory space.

Another awesome new feature that is being introduced in update 2.5. is the Crafting Mat Storage where crafting materials will “appear in a separate storage tab” that will give players more space in their “shared stash”. It receives its own section in the inventory tab to keep away the clutter and not take up so much inventory space too – convenient and handy! Check out the video below for a concise for-your-information on update 2.5.0 from Blizzard:

The Crusader, Barbarian, and Demon Hunter receive a change or two regarding skills and bugs, but the majority of the changes come with the various expansions and changes to items, Adventure Mode, and user interface adjustments. Namely, Primal Ancients have made their way to Diablo 3. Essentially, these items are catered to those who have gotten as close as possible to end-game gear as they can, but the problem lies with the Random Number Gods. Yes, they are rarer than regular ol’ Ancient items, but when you get them – it will be a glorious day. Every single Primal item will have “perfect Ancient-level stats on all affixes”. In other words, they will roll perfectly and that will be as end-game as you get…until the next patch comes out and it renders your build completely obsolete. Just kidding.

They are available for Seasons and non-Seasons, as well. Here’s the catch – Primals will only drop for those who have completed and solo’d level 70 Greater Rifts. With items as powerful as that, there’s no business needing them when your personal Greater Rift level is 5 and you one-hit everything. The game becomes much less fun that away.

For more information on update 2.5.0, you can check out the patch notes here or check out the video above! It is available on all platforms including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
