Even in our current age where oodles of projects are often delayed, there always seems to be even more games waiting around the corner. The month of April 2021 appears to be no different, with the next few weeks of releases offering somewhat of a colorful easter-egg hunt for fans (Get it? Because it’s Easter?), with highlights including People Can Fly’s sci-fi RPG Outriders, thrilling horror-shooter Returnal, and New Pokémon Snap for the Nintendo Switch.

On top of these games, April appears to be especially special as the first NieR finally gets a modern remaster, Oddworld Soulstorm makes its long-awaited debut, MLB: The Show 21 goes full Xbox, and another PlayStation property makes the jump to PC in Days Gone. In addition, titles like Final Fantasy XIV and Secret Neighbor expand to new platforms, Fallout 76 and Halo: The Master Chief Collection are offering new content updates, and Apple Arcade has considerably bolstered its platform with 31 releases in a single day.
