Apex Legends “Fight Or Fright” Halloween Event Revealed
It looks like the datamined files that were revealed for Apex Legends last week were right on the money, as Respawn Entertainment has come forward and officially announced its upcoming Halloween event. Called “Fight or Fright,” the themed event begins on October 15th and runs through November 5th, bringing with it a darker, spookier look for Kings Canyon, a new game mode, and plenty of new cosmetics.
Respawn Entertainment recently took to Twitter to announce the Fight or Fright Collection event, which will feature the new limited-time mode Shadowfall. Also kicking off on the 15th, Shadowfall is another solo event that will drop 34 players onto a night version of Kings Canyon for some delicious battle royale action.
Something wicked this way comes. ?

We also have some good news for those that have felt like they’ve been burned by Respawn Entertainment due to past Apex Legends events. The player feedback has seemed to have finally sunk in, as the developer recently issued a statement revealing that there will be other ways to obtain the new Halloween-themed gear other than dropping cash for it. “We strive to give players choice in how they can obtain in-game cosmetics,” Respawn said, “so for this Event we’ve updated the ways players can unlock these premium Collection Event cosmetics.” Players will be able to obtain the cosmetic items by purchasing or crafting them individually, and they will also be earnable via Event Apex Packs.
In terms of what players can expect from the new offerings, there will be new obtainable legendary skins for Caustic, Gibraltor, and Crypto. There will also be legendary weapon skins for the Alternator and the Devotion, as well as Lifeline’s Heirloom Set.
Apex Legends is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
