RUMOUR: It’s not exactly a rumour, but an apparent leak. I can’t confirm anything.
Apparently the Octane Legend was found in game due to some unknown glitch.

Thanks to the leak, we know that Octane’s kit truly does live up to their name, providing players with speed and maneuverability at the cost of health. The picture is a bit difficult to read, so here are the abilities below:
- (Passive) Swift Mend: While not taking damage, Octane restores health over time.
- (Tactical) Adrenaline Junkie: Move 30% faster for 8 seconds. Costs 10% health, immune to Slows while active.
- (Ultimate) Launch Pad: Deployable jump pad that catapults users through the air.
Octane’s kit is certainly interesting, especially given the elements of gameplay their ultimate introduces to the battlefield. Given that players can latch onto ziplines and redeploy balloons while flying through the air, it sound as if Octane will truly inject some ‘High Speed’ into Kings Canyon. Here’s hoping Respawn Entertainment will give us the official reveal sometime soon.
Apex Legends is now available free-to-play for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
