Next Apex Legends Character Could Be Bangalore’s Brother
Things have been fairly quiet for Respawn Entertainment’s title Apex Legends, with the most recent major update being the addition of the game’s newest character, Octane. Now, with the developer pushing out Titanfall 3 to better focus on its battle royale darling, we may have an idea as to the game’s next playable character, with a new report pointing to none other than Bangalore’s brother.
The news comes by way of a recent Apex Legends twitter post, which brings up an entry from The Outlands Journal that is seeking to uncover “the truth surrounding the fate of Lieutenant Jackson Williams.” The report itself for the most part features a transcript between Lieutenant Jackson Williams and Sergeant 1st Class Anita Williams, the latter of which is the real name of Bangalore.
The report reveals some interesting inconsistencies between the vessel’s black box and Anita Williams’ statement. These inconsistencies go unexplained, with the journal requesting that anyone with information comes forward to reveal the truth. Ultimately, the journal suggests that the occurrence could simply be an untimely death, or a “mysterious disappearance,” which corroborates Williams’ statement that her brother is still alive.
Thankfully, we may not have to wait too long to learn the truth. EA will reportedly be showcasing Apex Legends at its E3 2019 pre-show, EA Play, during which the game’s season 2 battle pass will likely be revealed. The only question now is, given what may have happened during his absence, will it be a friendly reunion between siblings, or something else entirely?
Apex Legends is now free to play for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
