Less than a month away from the launch of Anthem, BioWare and Electronic Arts are preparing for demos ahead. From the same team that created the Mass Effect and Dragon Age series comes a fresh new franchise for science-fiction fan and studio fans to embark on. Donning high-tech, powered mechanical suits called Javelins, players can traverse the dangerous world of Anthem as Freelancers. Before the game goes gold, however, the studio developers have prepared for a VIP demo.

Coming soon, those who sign up can invite three of their friends to join in. Between January 25th to the 27th, players will receive in-game items exclusive to folks who got a chance to try out the VIP access. In order to partake, you will need to have a pre-ordered copy of Anthem or become a subscriber to Origin or EA Access. Current members are eligible for the demonstration as well. Here’s how to get started:

• If you are an Origin Access or EA Access subscriber or if you digitally pre-ordered on Origin, Xbox Store, or PlayStation Store, you have been automatically registered for the VIP Demo & do not need a code.
• If you’ve pre-ordered Anthem through any other retailers, you will need a code to access the VIP Demo. Please contact the retailer you pre-ordered from to obtain your code.
• If you are an EA Access or Origin Access Subscriber, or Pre-Ordered the game, you need to Sign In to access the Friend Pass page.

In other words, PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 players will have a chance to try out BioWare’s latest IP before it arrives next month. Simply head to each platform’s respective store or client to check out the download page. Need a little help? Check out the how-to page right here. For those of whom do not wish to pre-order Anthem, there will be an open beta available between February 1st to the 3rd.
