Akuma Makes His Way to Street Fighter V – PSX Reveal

Trailers! Hail all the trailers and announcements from PlayStation Experience! Akuma was revealed for Street Fighter V during the opening ceremony of PSX 2016, and will be debut on December 20th. There’s also a character pack that will be released, with Akuma as one of the five brand new characters. The other characters reveals will be sprinkled throughout 2017 to, you know, keep you on your toes.

There is a Character Pass for the 2017 releases will be available starting December 20th, for $29.99. This gives players not only Akuma, but the others 4 characters as well. Eventually. Of course, Capcom wouldn’t let the perks of a Character Pass stop there. They’re throwing in premium battle costumes 3-10 colors, and default 3-10 colors unlocked as well. For each of the new characters. That’s not too bad, especially as steep as the price tag is.

If you haven’t heard yet, Capcom is ringing in the end of the year with Street Fighter V Holiday Costumes. Take a look at Zangief, for example. Still as bad ass as ever, but with a bit of the holiday spirits instilled into those bulging muscles (in the best Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonation one can muster). Yes, I know, he doesn’t sound anything like Schwarzenegger. If anything, he sounds a lot more like Reinhardt from Overwatch. Then again, a lot of voice actors impersonating Russian accents sound very similar. Either way, they’re still one-hundred percent epic and entertaining!

If the holiday skins are your thing, each costumer is $3.99 (USD), but if you get the Holiday Bundle, it will run you just about 20 dollars. This is a limited time only so, for those always in a state of jolly holiday spirits, you may want to get your hands on them as soon as possible. PlayStation closes shop on these items on January 17th!
