Gearbox Is Teasing A Borderlands 3 Reveal At PAX East 2019
After an insanely long wait, it appears that the highly anticipated Borderlands 3 reveal may finally be on the horizon. Developer Gearbox Software and Randy Pitchford have given fans loads of teasers throughout the years, the most recent of which from the latter being a series of tweets punctuated with the number 3. Now it appears that our agonizingly long wait is about to pay off, as Borderlands 3 may be getting its official reveal at this year’s PAX East convention.
The news comes by way of the folks over at Resetera, who spotted a panel listing for PAX East that suggests that some exclusive content will be shown at the Gearbox panel. “This is your opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at Gearbox Software and Gearbox Publishing, along with the latest news and updates from the makers of Borderlands, Battleborn, Brothers in Arms, and more,” the listing reads. “We will have never-before-seen-reveals, exclusives, and surprises, so don’t miss out!”
Not one to pass an opportunity to build up hype, the PAX East listing was also accompanied by a tweet from the official Gearbox twitter, with a simple pair of eyes as the text within the message. Check it out below:

I may be grasping at straws here, but the background of the above picture seems decidedly desert-like despite the more temperate location of the PAX East convention, which is in Boston, MA. The developer could’ve chosen any environmental background but instead went with one that gives us that distinct Borderlands vibe. Thankfully we won’t have much longer to wait, as the panel itself is set for March 28th from 2pm to 3pm ET. Stay tuned to DFTG for any news Gearbox may be revealing during the panel.
