Borderlands 3 Possibly Teased By Gearbox’s Randy Pitchford

Borderlands 3

One game that fans have been holding out hope to hear more about is the upcoming Borderlands 3. Sure, we haven’t received much information from Gearbox Software, but players have surely been keeping up the hype. That said, Gearboss Randy Pitchford sure does seem to enjoy toying with everyone.

The CEO recently took to Twitter to share his itinerary for the day, saying that he had three things to do as well as three meetings before 3pm. Unlike Gabe Newell’s inability to say the number 3, Pitchford doesn’t seem to possess the ability to stop. He then tweeted the following day, sticking with the same theme. Check it out for yourself below:

Could Pitchford be hinting at something with these tweets? Sure. However, fans were quick to divide themselves into two camps: Those who think a Borderlands 3 announcement is inbound, and those who pointed out the bait. Many of you may remember E3 2018 and the rumors that circulated regarding the highly-anticipated title. Pitchford also recognized this, and tweeted the following:

Another 3. Interesting. If Gearbox intends on revealing a trailer in the near future, next week’s The Game Awards might be the place to do it. Of course, we won’t know until the rumors stop and the studio delivers the goods. Until then, Borderlands 2 VR is available to get lost on Pandora and avoid a timeline that doesn’t include Borderlands 3. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:

What say you, gamers? Will we be seeing a Borderlands 3 trailer at The Game Awards on December 6th? Is Randy Pitchford a master troll? Sound off in the comments section below, and be sure to follow DFTG on Twitter for live gaming and entertainment news 24/7!
