Borderlands 3 Might Be Revealed This Month

Borderlands 3

One game that fans can’t wait to hear more about is Gearbox Software’s next installment in the Borderlands franchise. It has seemingly been a long time coming, but there is a possibility that Borderlands 3 might actually be revealed this month.

Gearbox will be present at the upcoming PAX East convention, where they will be hosting a 1-hour panel. During this time, they “will have never-before-seen reveals, exclusives, and surprises.” Of course, there’s no telling what these things could be, but all fingers are pointing to Borderlands 3.

We already know that 90% of Gearbox is working on the game, and that it exists for that matter, but we don’t have any concrete information as to when it will arrive, what the plot will be, or any core details. We just simply know that it is a thing that will be happening in the future, to put it as vaguely as possible.

It is looking more and more like Borderlands 3 will not be the next Half-Life 3, which is always a plus. And maybe this is all hyping things up too much, but with a possible 2019 release, PAX East would be the perfect place for Gearbox to show off the highly-anticipated title. Who knows, maybe it’s another Brothers in Arms game.

The Gearbox Software panel is set to take place on Thursday, March 28th from 2pm to 3pm ET. You can find more details about the panel on the PAX East website. Here’s to hoping that is the day we will finally see Borderlands 3.
