Metro Exodus Will Launch With A Built-In Photo Mode Day One
The Metro franchise has always had quite impressive visuals, drawing the player in with the dark and unsettling ambiance of the dirty and cluttered metro tunnels and the sad, desolate world above ground. The upcoming title, Metro Exodus, will give players a chance to capture the moments that make the series so special for themselves.

Following suit of many titles in the current market, Metro Exodus will be bringing with it a built-in photo mode. Executive Producer for 4A Games, Joe Block spoke in a recent press release to confirm that the feature was highly requested by fans, despite it being rarely seen within first-person shooters.
Photo Mode has been one of the most requested features from the Metro community. They’re relatively rare in first-person shooters, but the team have been determined to make it work and give Metro fans the opportunity to capture their own stories from the Russian wastelands.”
While the developer hasn’t mentioned whether or not the feature would contain special effects or filters like Marvel’s Spider-Man does, it will be available for all versions of the title. The PC version will also be making use of NVIDIA’s Ansel technology and will give players access to a full suite of features such as post process filters, 360 degree photo capture, even “super resolutions.”
Metro Exodus is set to arrive on February 15th for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Let us know your thoughts on Metro: Exodus and the game’s photo mode in the comments section below.
