Fallout 3 Has A Few Easter Eggs You Can Only See By Moving Out Of Bounds (VIDEO)

Fallout 3

Fallout 3 has been out since 2008 and like many Bethesda titles, it features a large number of hidden secrets. Just when it seems like everything has been discovered about the game, a new video shows off a ton of crazy features showcasing all the different ways developers took to workaround particular visible parts of the game.

YouTuber Shesez is well known for a series that digs beyond the playable area in search of secrets found within games called Boundary Break. Seeing as how the latest episode is the 101st for the series, it’s only fitting that the YouTuber took a look at the Capital Wasteland and Vault 101 of Fallout 3. The series generally uses console commands and various other techniques to move around freely in order to witness how the developers worked around certain features within the game such as textures, characters that are hidden just off screen, and more.

Within Fallout 3 there are quite a few interesting techniques that were used to create the illusion of a full on living, breathing environment such as a rotating tube that acts as a teleprompter for operational marquees, what the inside of Megaton looks like before players load into it, and many more. Shesez even goes as far as to take a peek at what Tranquility Lane looks like with full color:

It’ll be exciting to see just where Shesez and Boundary Break go in 2019. Are there any games you’re hoping the series covers? Let us know your thoughts on these out of bounds Easter eggs in Fallout 3 and more in the comments section below.
