Overkill's The Walking Dead Announces 'Streaming Dead Live' Launch Event

With Overkill’s The Walking Dead arriving later this week, zombie fans looking to sink their teeth into the upcoming co-op action FPS are picking their favorite characters and prepping themselves for what is shaping up to be a stellar immersive experience. Now, it appears that the folks over at Starbreeze Studios are celebrating the upcoming launch with a special ‘Streaming Dead Live’ event that is taking place later this week.

Starbreeze Studios announced in a new press release that the publisher will be hosting a four-hour launch event at its studio in Los Angeles. In celebration of the release of Overkill’s The Walking Dead, the launch event will feature a “killer lineup of gaming influencers,” including Shroud, JGhosty (Team Ninja), Anne Munition, and AngryPug.

Here’s more information about the launch event, courtesy of the developer:

“Greg Miller (Kinda Funny), will not only host the event and preside over an action-packed itinerary, he’ll also be smashing heads IRL during the stream. Expert survivalist and legitimate badass David Canterbury (Discovery Channel) will be popping in throughout the event, offering practical real-world advice on surviving a zombie apocalypse.”

In addition to the onsite festivities, fans can also watch the event on the official Starbreeze Studios Twitch stream, right here. Those that watch the event – which begins on November 6 and runs from 2-6PM PT – will be eligible to receive Steam codes, exclusive merchandise, and more.

Overkill’s The Walking Dead launches on November 6, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
