Latest Destiny 2 Forsaken Trailer Teases Queen Mara Sov’s “Last Wish” (VIDEO)
There was a lot of hype surrounding the latest expansion for Destiny 2, and Forsaken definitely delivered. The DLC brought players new and old into the fray with a variety of new weapons, armor, and even a new game mode called Gambit. The new story with the Forsaken expansion told the tale of the Hunt for Uldren Sov, the Queen of the Awoken’s brother which saw a shocking twist ending and set Guardian’s up for the game’s next raid. With the arrival of the “Last Wish” quickly approaching, Bungie has released a trailer teasing player’s next big adventure.
Within the trailer, Queen Mara Sov tasks Petra Venj, the acting Regent-Commander of the Awoken with assembling a team, who will go to the heart of the Dreaming City to eliminate a “creature” and extract its heart so Mara Sov can fulfill one “Last Wish.” This team is of course going to be up to 6 Guardians who will take on challenges in and out of the Ascendant Realm in search of loot, glory, and adventure.
While there is no word yet on what Light Level will be required to take on the “Last Wish” raid, it can be estimated that the recommended Light Level will be somewhere around 550. If this is true and traditional raid mechanics are in place, players can expect to see enemies within a 540-560 though again, nothing has been confirmed yet.
Destiny 2 is available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The “Last Wish” raid goes live September 14th. Are you ready to take on the next great challenge Destiny 2 has to offer?
