Injustice Gods Among Us is a sort of Mortal Kombat clone, but it contains characters from DC comics, including notable names like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and The Flash. The game also features a number of infamous villains including the Joker himself. If you ever wanted to give Supes the beatdown with Lex Luther, this is the game for you. If you’re worried (or wanting) for guts and gore, the game does have a fatality feature, but you won’t see anything along the lines of Mortal Kombat’s over the top brutality, because it just wouldn’t make sense for Aquaman to rip someones skeleton out of their mouth.
Haunted House is a re-imagining of a classic Atari game from 1981. You scour a house for clues while trying to avoid various ghost and ghouls. Definitely not going to freak out any grown ups, but it’s a good family friendly romp for younger ages without getting too terrifying.
Luckily, if you already own the games, they’ll be made available to you via the the Xbox store at no cost. If you’re interested in purchasing them, you can grab them both up for pretty cheap.
If you weren’t aware, the previous titles announced for backwards compatible release were The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and the beloved Mass Effect Trilogy. Microsoft shows no sign of slowing the backwards compatible ports, and the already impressive roster continues to expand.
Are you excited to give Injustice Gods Among Us and Haunted House another play? What are some of the games that you would like to see next on the backwards compatible schedule? Le us know in the comments and hang out here at DFTG to learn about what classics are coming up next!

Depending on who you ask, Josh's obsession with video games may or may not be entirely healthy. Frequently bankrupting himself to get the next fix, he indiscriminately jumps from game to game, perhaps searching for that perfect title that will leave him eternally satisfied.
