The list continues to grow. Every month Microsoft works hand in hand with big name publishers and developers to constantly increase the list of games playable through the Backwards Compatibility program. Title releases and legalities aside, the technology is there and little by little the list grows adding fan favourites all of the time.

October 27th brings three new titles to that list including Killer is Dead, Rage, and Shred Nebula. If you already own these Xbox 360 titles, then you are good to guy. Slip the disk in your current generation console and load it right up!

If you have the digital versions of these titles, except for Rage – which requires the disk, they should show up in your gaming library automatically. Never got a change to try out these titles? No worries, both Killer is Dead (20 USD) and Shred Nebula (5 USD) are available to purchase in the Xbox Store.

Phil Spencer also recently discussed plans for the future of the backwards compatibility program and touches on why the process takes longer than a lot of people realise. He talked about the future of adding most frequently asked for titles such as Call of Duty: Black Ops II as well as the addition of titles such as the BioShock series.
