Pokemon Let’s Go Trailer Shows Off Pokemon Mounts, Co-Op, And More (VIDEO)
A franchise that has spanned from Japanese comics and graphic novels, to one of the most well-known animated and video game series of all time becomes even more real. Soon, fans will be receiving the next entry in the Pokemon series for the Nintendo Switch, taking the classic top-down style with a bigger and better 3D twist. You can have a pocket monster follow you outside of its Poke Ball chamber alongside Eevee or Pikachu, and that even includes a flopping Magikarp.
To show off this new feature and several other to anticipate, Pokemon Let’s Go gets a brand new trailer. Featuring cooperative play, a “friendly” rival, gym leaders, and Pokemon mounts – there’s a whole lot more to Pokemon Let’s Go than what was first introduced last month. Pokemon Trainers can even ride larger pocket monsters like Arcanine, or fly on the back of a Charizard. For the seafarers out there, Lapras and other select Pokemon are there for the call! Check it all out below:
Of course, the adventure starts with the introduction to Professor Oak, where players will pick one of their three forever friends. Players will explore the Kanto region with Eevee or Pikachu by their side. In fact, customize their faithful companion with outfits and hair styles, travel anywhere you go, bring an additional Pokemon out of their ball, or fly around town!
Battle Pokemon trainers on your way to the next town, face off against gym leaders like the rock-type Brock and water-type Misty! Need a hand? Co-op play let’s you bring on a friend to join the adventure to assist during battles or catch new Pokemon. Console owners can connect for online battles as well with local and internet communication capabilities. This also means trading is possible!
