Leaked Overwatch Anniversary Event Clip Reveals Start Date (VIDEO)
It’s hard to believe that Blizzard Entertainment’s super popular team-based FPS has been out for nearly two years. This is only because of how much the title has accomplished, it almost seems like it has been around for a bit longer. That being said, the Overwatch Anniversary Event is just around the corner, and we now know when it is set to begin.
Thanks to a recent leak, we have learned that Overwatch’s Anniversary Event will kick the festivities off in less than two weeks. The video, which has provided a start date, also shows off some sweet Legendary skins on characters that are getting down to that funky beat. Unfortunately, the clip doesn’t actually have any sound, so you’ll have to provide your own tunes if you don’t want Junkrat and Roadhog looking like complete fools. Check it out for yourself below:

That’s right, gamers – the Overwatch Anniversary Event kicks off on May 22nd. We have no idea what this year’s event will have to offer, but if it is anything like last year’s celebration, we can expect to see past skins and game modes present. Whether or not Blizzard has anything special planned for this year, that will remain to be seen until Jeff Kaplan releases a developer update, which should be very soon.
Overwatch is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming news going on right now, check out the following:
