Mew May Be The Easiest Pokemon To Capture In Pokemon GO
The latest Pokemon GO update just arrived and with it brings the legendary Psychic-type Mew and daily quests to make the romp around key locations one’s neighborhood worthwhile. In fact, catching a legendary has never been easier, but there’s just a slight catch with that. Niantic made some major updates to the game’s master file, which happens to include a 100% catch rate the little fella. That’s right, one-zero-zero percent.
Once Mew has been found, as long as Pokemon Trainers successfully land a Poke Ball, there’s an undeniable rate of success. It’s worthwhile to keep in mind that Mew does have attack and dodge abilities, so make sure to time the throw just right. According to a datamine, the encounter with Mew will be a hard one to miss since it will be “special”, but it’s unclear in what way or how until more information develops from the community.
With that being said, it doesn’t mean Mew will be easy to find. Since the quest for the Psychic-type can only be completed once, and Trainers must do a series of special quests before that happens. Sounds a little tedious? It’s okay, those determined to catch the legendary Pokemon are in for a treat. This adorable pocket monster has the largest list of skills available in Pokemon GO so far, including 13 fast abilities and 27 various charge abilities. See long list below:
