New Inhumans Trailer Shows Medusa’s Crazy Hair Powers in Action (VIDEO)

Inhumans Trailer Shows Medusa's Crazy Hair Powers in Action (VIDEO)

A television series based on Marvel’s The Inhumans comic series is heading to IMAX and the ABC network later this year, but in the meantime, we’ve seen brief trailers and promotional stills released to keep fans occupied. In the midst of 2017’s San Diego Comic-Con, some brand new footage has surfaced for the superhero show, showing off the scheming villain Maximus and his plan to overthrow his stone-faced brother Black Bolt, king of the Inhumans. The Inhumans trailer also provides a new look at Queen Medusa’s crazy hair-raising abilities. Check it out below:

In the comics, Medusa’s hair is used as a pretty handy weapon, often using the lively strands to capture and wrap those who end up on her bad side. As one would expect, this usually makes her hair quite the visual treat, always seeming to wave about with personality.

So far, the majority of released video hasn’t shown much of the queen’s animated hair, mostly showing an average, lifeless do. Perhaps the required CGI has not been completed for the full effect and we may see more finished product when the September 1st IMAX premiere draws a bit closer.

After the theatrical premiere, Inhumans will continue on ABC beginning on September 29th. It stars Serinda Swan (Medusa), Iwan Rheon (Maximus), Anson Mount (Black Bolt), Isabelle Cornish (Crystal), Ken Leung (Karnak), Eme Ikwuakor (Gorgon), Sonya Balmores (Auran), Mike Moh (Triton), and Ellen Woglom. Stay tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers for the next bit of news when the eventual next Inhumans trailer drops.
