Destiny 2 Is Currently Free On PC, Here's How To Get It (VIDEO)

Treading the multiplayer expanse of Destiny 2 may present a tall task considering all the events and expansions that have so far released. However, newbies who haven’t yet taken the plunge may be inclined to do so following a recent announcement at BlizzCon 2018.

Celebrating their one-year anniversary on Blizzard’s Battle.net, Destiny 2 has been made free of charge for a limited time. From now until the date of November 18th, anyone on PC can jump in and participate in all the offerings present in the base version of the Bungie title.

Those wishing to take part in the deal need only to log into Battle.net and claim their prize in the “Gifts” section. Before redeeming the free copy, players are greeted with the following message:

In celebration of one year of Destiny 2 on Battle.net, we want to gift you a copy of Destiny 2. Claim now before the offer expires on November 18, 2018.” – Blizzard

Now that anyone on PC can take advantage of what Destiny 2 has to offer, players now have the opportunity to utilize the game’s newest updates and/or go after the several already-released expansions. New players will also be prepared for events arriving in the future, such as the new Gambit mode, which will also see another free trial period lasting from November 9th to 11th. However, events such as these might be numbered with the recent advent of Destiny 3 rumors.
