While Genshin Impact players are busy finishing up their limited-time Windblume Festival quests and Hangout Events, developer miHoYo is currently hard at work getting things prepped for the game’s next major update, Version 1.5. If that’s not enough to keep the devs occupied, it has been announced that Genshin Impact will be releasing for PS5 this spring.

Genshin Impact developer miHoYo released a new trailer for the game subtitled ‘May Your Journey Know No Bounds.’ The trailer shows off scenes from the recently released Windblume Festival before jumping into some of the gameplay found in the Dragonspine area, released earlier this year in the Version 1.2 update. Following this, we are shown a montage of some of the game’s newer characters before settling into a climactic battle with a Primo Geovishap, after which it is revealed that the game will be coming soon to the PlayStation 5.

The trailer doesn’t provide a release window or offer any insight on what to expect from the PS5 version of Genshin Impact, though Sony comes in clutch with a brief breakdown of what’s to come. According to a tweet released earlier today, the PS5 version of Genshin Impact will feature enhanced visuals, fast loading, and controller support for the DualSense. It’s unknown at this time if haptic feedback will be included in said support, though it would certainly be a nice touch given the varied natures of the playable characters.

Genshin Impact will be releasing on PS5 at some point this spring.
