8Bitdo has updated the page on their official website for their new SN30 Pro and SF30 Pro controllers, which are modeled after the designs of the original SNES and Super Famicom versions, respectively. They have officially confirmed that the release date for these new peripherals will be December 10th, 2017. 8Bitdo made them both available for pre-order on Amazon. These new Pro models include twin joysticks, a feature missing from the previous 8Bitdo SNES and Super Famicom-style controllers, allowing for greater compatibility with standard console games.

Aside from Nintendo Switch, these Bluetooth controllers also work with PC games (including Steam) and mobile games. There is an optional $6 mobile phone stand that can physically mount a smartphone on the SN30 Pro or SF30 Pro. With the added bonus of 18 hours of battery life after 1-2 hours of charging, you’ve got quite a retro marvel here to add life to your Switch. Make your pre-order here!
