The Binding Of Isaac: Repentance Expansion Release Date Revealed (VIDEO)
The indie gaming scene has exploded in the past decade, with one of the most iconic and long-lasting indie games being The Binding of Isaac. The little roguelike that could took the PC-gaming world by storm before being remade so it could be ported to just about every console in the previous gaming generation. With the latest version of the game being The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth, many have wondered if there might yet be another iteration or expansion of the game. Well, it seems that developer Edmund McMillen has confirmed The Binding of Isaac: Repentance expansion, as well as its release date.
The Binding Of Isaac creator and developer Edmund McMillen shared a new trailer for The Binding of Isaac: Repentance expansion on his YouTube channel. The CG animated video shows various items and elements from the game on the shelves in Isaac’s room, with Isaac crying on the floor, before Isaac’s abuseful mother comes storming in. The trailer then reveals the title of The Binding of Isaac: Repentance, with confirmation that the game will be arriving on Steam on March 31st.

The Binding of Isaac: Repentance expansion trailer description, as well as McMillen through his official Twitter account, have confirmed that Repentance is a “sequel sized final expansion” that includes new bosses, floors, items and much more. Many replies to McMillen on Twitter pointed out though that McMillen seemingly made fans believe that the previous iteration and remakes would be the definitive final work McMillen would do on the game. Whether or not this really will end up being the end of Isaac, fans of the series will surely be happy about this new expansion.
