With the new year having officially begun, gamers across the web are excited to learn more about the big titles coming in the near future, especially with the promise of the next generation of consoles arriving this Holiday season. 2020 will also bring the return of several beloved franchises, including Animal Crossing and Doom. One series that gamers have been waiting to see a return from has been the Batman Arkham games, which have been absent of new releases for a few years now. Well, some new teaser images released by Warner Bros Games seems to indicate that a new Batman Arkham game is in the works.

Warner Bros. Games recently released new mysterious images on their various official Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. The images appear to be portions of a large symbol when all three are combined together. Many have pointed out that the symbol looks quite similar to versions of the Gotham City Police Department symbol.

Warner Bros. Games has also registered a new web domain which features a large elaborate design that includes this potential GCPD symbol, as well as another organization symbol. The shape also includes other blank areas that other symbols may appear in at a future time, perhaps when the game is officially announced. These mysterious images have been enough to convince Batfans that the Dark Knight is indeed returning for another epic adventure that we need, and hopefully it is the game we all deserve.
