The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 Combine With Brilliant Cyberpunk Cosplay

Cyberpunk Geralt

The next year holds a lot of promise for fans of CD Projekt RED’s biggest franchises. Gamers are eagerly awaiting the release of Cyberpunk 2077 next year, and next month Witcher fans will see Geralt of Rivia come to life in a new live action The Witcher Netflix series. Given the long wait so far for Cyberpunk 2077, fans have been finding ways to express their fandom for the new game, as well as their appreciation for The Witcher. Some have done so through fan art, others have chosen the beloved pastime of cosplay, making mashups like Ciri as a Cyberpunk hacker. Now, one talented cosplayer has made a Cyberpunk cosplay with Geralt front and neon-center.

Cosplayer Taryn_Cosplay has shared their new Cyberpunk Geralt of Rivia mashup cosplay on their official Instagram account. With photos taken by DC Photo Cosplay, the cosplay reimagines Geralt as a citizen from the world of 2077. Instead of Geralt’s facial scars, he now sports a cybernetic eye implant, as well as what appears to be a robotic arm. Also, instead of a sword, this Geralt has opted for a pistol as his main weapon of choice.

The lighting work on the photo only enhances the Cyberpunk feel, and the creative choices made for the reinterpretation, such as Geralt’s new leather jacket. There have been some Witcher Easter eggs confirmed for Cyberpunk 2077 so far, but hopefully we do get to see a Cyberpunk verison of Geralt like this in the final game. But for now, this ingenious cosplay is a good life hack. What do you guys think about this Cyberpunk Geralt cosplay? Let us know in the comments below!
