Xbox Is Teasing Something Related To Game Of Thrones (VIDEO)

As if the anticipation wasn’t massive enough for the next episode of the final season of Game of Thrones, the folks over at Microsoft have decided to throw some more onto the pile with a newly revealed teaser video. Said video was released through the official Xbox Twitter account, showing off a fiery 12 seconds of flames, dragon scales, and what fittingly appears to be the Targaryen family sigil. Check it out below:

So, what could the Game of Thrones teaser video possibly mean? Well, given the zoomed in nature of the scaly image shown, there is in all likelihood a customer Game of Thrones Xbox One console coming to a sweepstakes near you, complete with dragon scales and, of course, the Targaryen sigil. It isn’t particularly likely that Microsoft is making these things en masse, so chances are high that just a few of them, perhaps even one, will be given away.

The other option is, of course, a new Game of Thrones video game. Microsoft hasn’t been quiet about its bid to acquire new studios, and this fits with the rumor that the company will be announcing five new studio acquisitions at E3 2019. Given how dominant Sony has been recently with its PS4 exclusives, Microsoft may be shooting for its own suite of exclusive titles spearheaded by Game of Thrones.Speculations aside, when all things are said and done, at least there is one indisputable constant: Winter is Coming.
