Xbox Games Showcase Will Focus Only On Games

Despite all the canceled events and delays, the video game industry continues to move forward with tons of announcements and reveals. This Summer has been bustling with news, including the recent Ubisoft Forward event showcasing all the latest and greatest projects the team has under the hood.  The next anticipated event of the Summer is Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase and instead of congesting the festivities with news and extras, the team revealed that the spotlight will focus exclusively on games. That’s it.

According to Xbox’s Aaron Greenberg, the Xbox Games Showcase on July 23rd at 9:00 AM (PST) will include brand new world premieres and updates on previously revealed titles. Of course, that includes Halo Infinite. Check out the Twitter post below for additional context:

Hosted by the renown industry icon Geoff Keighley, the Xbox Games Showcase will start with a Summer Game Fest pre-show at 8:00 AM PST on July 23rd on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and Twitter. The pre-show will feature “reveals, predictions, insights from YouTube creators, and more on some already-announced titles coming to Xbox.”

Are you relieved to know that the Xbox Showcase won’t be cluttered up with news and information outside of video game announcements and reveals?
