Xbox Series X Game Reveals Coming Soon, Says Phil Spencer

It looks like Microsoft fans won’t have to wait too much longer to start hearing about what launch games can be expected for the Xbox Series X. While Sony is still trudging along with its rather sparse reveals, the Xbox company appears to be moving full steam ahead, with the plan to unveil a list of its starting lineup of games soon.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer recently took to Twitter to respond to a fan that asked Spencer how he felt about the upcoming new game reveals for the Xbox Series X, and when to expect them. Spencer responded by revealing that the plans for the announcements were personally reviewed by him yesterday, and that the Microsoft team is “doing great work and adapting,” likely referencing the difficulties caused by the ongoing pandemic.

Phil Spencer’s promise of an upcoming game lineup reveal likely won’t go unanswered by Sony, which needs to commit to revealing more of the PlayStation 5 ideally at least half a year prior to the console’s official release. As such, chances are we can expect a busy summer in the video game industry, despite – and maybe even partially due to – what’s been going on in the world.
