The arrival of a new month brings with it a fresh new batch of free games from the folks over at Microsoft courtesy of the Xbox Games With Gold. As usual, half the free games for June 2021 will roll out on the first of next month, while the other half will become available on June 16. The free games for next month are Injustice: Gods Among Us, The King’s bird, Shadows: Awakening, and NeoGeo Battle Coliseum.

Microsoft took to its Xbox Wire site to reveal the free offerings for June 2021 for Xbox Games With Gold members. Both The King’s Bird and Shadows: Awakening will be available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X, while Injustice: Gods Among Us and NeoGeo Battle Coliseum will be available via backward compatibility. Here’s the breakdown of when each game will be available next month:

• The King’s Bird ($19.99 ERP): Available June 1 to 30
• Shadows: Awakening ($29.99 ERP): Available June 16 to July 15
• NeoGeo Battle Coliseum ($9.99 ERP): Available June 1 to 15
• Injustice: Gods Among Us ($19.99 ERP): Available June 16 to 30

As usual, Xbox Games with Gold subscribers still have a little bit of time left to get their hands on the current month’s offerings. The last day to snag both Armello and Tropico 4 is May 31st, while subscribers have until June 15 to acquire Dungeons III.
