Xbox Free Games With Gold February List Revealed (VIDEO)
Xbox Live Gold subscribers are accustomed to getting a sweet offering of free titles with Games With Gold, and January’s lineup featured a nice selection of fan-favorite adventures from the past with Tomb Raider: Underworld, Zombi and Army of Two rounding out the bunch. What we can expect from the service for the next month has now been revealed in the new Games With Gold February list.
First on the list is Shadow Warrior, a first person shooter taking place in a world of supernatural Asian mythology. Players portray Lo Wang, a modern day ninja with a formidable arsenal at his disposal to take on hordes of demons. Modern day firearms as well as swords and magic are employed in the mission to return evil back into the darkness. The slaying begins on February 1st for Xbox One.
Second on the Games With Gold February list is Split/Second a high-octane racing title that lets players bring action movie theatrics to the normal race proceedings. Tracks make use of destructible environments and give players control of when to pull the trigger to create the most epic experience possible. The race begins on February 1st for Xbox 360 and Xbox One through backward compatibility.
Later in the month is Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India, a 2.5D side scrolling adventure that emphasizes stealth and platforming, as well as the healthy dose of Templar assassinating the series is known for. This title will be available on February 16th for Xbox One.
Last but not least is Crazy Taxi, an open-world driving game that tasks players to beat the clock and get taxi customers to their destination as quickly as possible. If this means driving into oncoming traffic or performing mid-air barrel rolls, then so be it. The meter stats running on February 16th for Xbox 360 and Xbox One through backward compatibility.
