“This Week In Xbox” Breaks Down E3 Expectations, Plus … Of Course More Fortnite
This Week in Xbox is a segment that Microsoft holds … you guessed it, weekly, to discuss what fans may have missed while also touching on what’s ahead. With E3 around the corner, of course Mike Nelson would want to discuss a little bit about what the team has in store, while also discussing new titles and what else is happening in the Xbox-verse.
First up: Fortnite Fridays:
Of course Microsoft would want to get in on this action, Fortnite is everywhere and for good reason! To make the play experience a bit more intense, the team is holding specific play sessions with their first having wrapped up on April 20th. Here’s their full line-up:
- Solos: Every Friday, April 20 – Friday, May 11
- Duos: Every Friday, May 18 – Friday, June 8
- Squads: Every Friday, June 15 – Friday, July 6
“We can’t wait to see players competing at our events with that Victory Royale on the line – and maybe bust out some sweet dance emotes if they’re feeling flashy!” Begins their exciting post. “You’ll be eligible to take home the grand prize of gift cards applicable towards 2,500 V-Bucks in Fortnite: Battle Royale each week, depending on how high you place and how many opponents you eliminate each round. Attendees will play on high-powered ASUS Republic of Gamers PCs, and Xbox Wireless Controllers will be provided upon request. You’ll be able to put those fancy building skills to use whether you play on PC or console at home.”
