World Of Warcraft: Shadowlands Afterlives Teaser Shows Off Bastion (VIDEO)
The upcoming expansion for World of Warcraft, Shadowlands is set to take players beyond the veil of death and into the afterlife. Within, they’ll meet various Covenants that rule over 4 of the 5 zones within the Shadowlands. As players search for a way to stop the corruption within the land, they’ll take on new quests, fight new enemies, and meet new characters within the new Covenants that they’ll be able to pledge their allegiance to. To give fans an idea as to how what these Covenants are all about, a recently announced new animated series has shown off the first teaser for fans to enjoy.
The first of 4 videos has arrived to showcase a tale of Uther the Lightbringer, a Paladin of the Silver Hand who found himself killed by his own student and his wounds damaged even into his own soul. Discovered and aided by a Paragon of Bastion named Devos, Uther begins on a path to ascension and is forced to make a choice between seeking justice or vengeance. Along the way, fans are teased with a bit of the hierarchy of Bastion and a hint as to the potential storyline of the Bastion campaign.
While this Afterlives teaser shows off a story set in the ethereal realm of Bastion, several more are scheduled to be released in the weeks leading up to World of Warcraft: Shadowlands’ release. September 3rd will see the premiere of Shadowlands Afterlives: Maldraxxus, the following week of September 10th will shed light on the neon realm of Ardenweald, and September 17th will give prominence to the hardcore gothic realm of Revendreth.
