World of Warcraft Classic Overpopulation Creating Massive Wait Lines

World of Warcraft Classic

It’s pretty clear that World of Warcraft Classic has brought many players back to the popular MMO, especially with Twitch viewership skyrocketing. That said, the servers have been a little overpopulated, which has led to excruciating queue times as well as literal lines to complete quests inside of the game.

That’s right, once inside World of Warcraft Classic, there have been so many players that they started lining up to complete quests. That is, of course, unless the players just piled on one another and tried taking down any given target once it spawns.

However, Blizzard has been kind enough to hopefully remedy the overpopulation in World of Warcraft Classic with some recent hotfixes. “With hotfixes that we are currently deploying to all WoW Classic realms, we are substantially increasing the number of players that can be simultaneously logged in and playing,” reads the post on the Blizzard forums. “We expect this to result in smaller queues for realms that have large queues, and some realms should no longer have queues at all.”

Needless to say, there are a lot of people wanting to play World of Warcraft Classic. Here’s to hoping the overpopulation issues are under control in the near future. The popular MMO is currently available on PC. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
