As the streaming service scene grows increasingly competitive, the major streaming companies have opted to mine for proverbial gold in classic video game franchises. It seems nowadays that each streaming service has its own adaptation of a major video game franchise either already or in the works. One such confirmed project has been the live-action Twisted Metal series for Peacock in the works by Sony. The project has already garnered an impressive main cast, though many have been waiting to hear a casting choice for the series’ most iconic character, Sweet Tooth the clown. Now, it seems that the Twisted Metal series has found its Sweet Tooth in the dulcet tones of none other than Will Arnett.

Variety has reported on the casting of Sweet Tooth for the live-action Twisted Metal series for Peacock. Sony Television Productions has tapped Will Arnett to provide the voice of Sweet Tooth for the project. Arnett earned his claim to fame through live-action roles in TV series like Arrested Development and 30 Rock, but has increasingly become an in-demand voice actor in recent years. Fans will likely recognize him as the voice of the titular Bojack Horseman on Netflix, or as the voice of Lego Batman in the Warner Bros. Lego animated movies. With Arnett providing only the voice, it is expected that a stand-in will portray the physical actions of the clown, though that casting choice has not been announced yet.

Will Arnett joins an already impressive cast for the Twisted Metal series. The project already confirmed that Marvel’s Anthony Mackie and Encanto’s Stephanie Beatriz will portray the two main lead characters, John Doe and Quiet. More recently, Thomas Haden Church was cast as a highway officer and Neve Campbell in a recurring role also.
