The Venture Bros. Announces Series Premiere Of Season 7 (VIDEO)
Adult Swim finally announces the season 7 premiere of The Venture Bros! It’s been a couple years since the finale of season six, but Hank, Dean and company are ready for their return with a 10-episode installment this Summer that ties in the last season’s showdown between Blue Morpho (an ode to Green Hornet) and the Wide Whale. Two weeks ago saw the teaser of a gigantic magic circle and foreboding times ahead, but Adult Swim just released another short teaser that gives off a few clues as to what will happen next.
The Venture Bros. series, which began in 2003 as a parody to the “great action/adventure cartoons of yesteryear,” has evolved into a world all its own. Spanning pop-culture references old and new, the animated adult cartoon has spun its own universe of lore and tradition. In fact, to best enjoy the all of what season 7 has to offer, veteran viewers and newbies alike may want to watch the last few in preparation. The nods to seasons’ past will be boundless.
Season 7 of The Venture Bros. premieres on August 5th, 2018 on Adult Swim at midnight eastern time.
