Uncharted Movie Delayed Yet Again, But Not By Much
It should come as a surprise to nobody that there are going to be many things delayed for the foreseeable future, especially considering what has taken place over the past year or so. That said, the latest piece of entertainment to get hit with a delay is the upcoming Uncharted movie, but the delay is but a small one.
For those counting, the Uncharted film was originally meant to premiere last month, but was unfortunately delayed until February 11, 2022. However, it looks like Columbia Pictures and Sony have another date in mind as the movie is now expected to arrive on February 18, 2022. No specific reasoning has been provided as to why the film has been delayed by such a short amount of time, but Deadline speculates it may have something to do with the Super Bowl being on February 13th, which could possibly keep fans out of the theater that weekend. That is, of course, provided theaters are fully operational at that point.
Again, this is not the first movie or game to be delayed, and it certainly won’t be the last. Besides, the Uncharted movie is just shy of a year away, so the chances of a one week delay being significant are pretty small. Either way, here’s to hoping the world is a bit more open for business come next February so fans can see the film on the big screen.
The Uncharted film is now set to arrive on February 18, 2022. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
