What You Can Expect from Ubisoft’s E3 2017 Lineup (VIDEO)

E3 week is now underway and it’s already off to a fantastic start. Saturday consisted of Electronic Art’s show, EA Play, which proved to be a great kick-off to the biggest week in gaming news. There’s still so much more to come out of the next few days, and one company in particular has a few high profile franchises they plan to show off, as well as a brand new IP (intellectual property). So what can fans expect Ubisoft’s E3 presentation this year? Don’t Feed the Gamers has the list of games confirmed for their stage show.

The developer is set to take the stage at 1PM PST / 4PM EST on Monday, June 12 and will be bringing their AAA games. One of the publisher’s most highly-anticipated franchises is coming back after a break in their annual release format – Assassin’s Creed. The latest entry into the franchise has been bombarded with alleged leaks in the past few weeks and the time is closing in on an official reveal. The rumored title, Assassin’s Creed: Origins, may include details such as the Egyptian setting and an October release date. Come Monday afternoon, everyone should have all of the confirmation their hearts can take.

Another high profile franchise that will be brought to E3 is the already controversial Far Cry 5 announced a couple of weeks ago. The reason the controversy is running so high is that the protagonists in the game seem to be an American religious cult, that many are comparing to actual American organizations. The Far Cry series is popular among first-person shooter as well as RPG fans, which is why the franchise has been so successful. Gamers are eagerly awaiting gameplay footage as well as more details on the plot of the fifth entry into the series.

Racing gamers, start your engines. The open-world follow up to 2014’s The Crew will speed into Ubisoft’s E3 presentation on Monday. The first game used accurate locations in an open-world environment that allowed players to race through the streets of some of America’s most popular cities. Details about The Crew 2 are scarce other than a release window within some time this fiscal year.

The kids of South Park will be leaving their Colorado city and headed to Los Angeles for Monday’s presentation. Announced at last year’s E3, South Park: The Fractured But Whole has had some push-backs, but is anticipated to debut this Fall. It’s safe to assume that players will see some gameplay footage and some more details during the stage show.

Ubisoft also plans to present a brand new IP during their conference. Details are seemingly non-existent, but the community is still anxious to find out what it is. The publishers are also rumored to be bringing Mario + Rabbids: Kindom Come, which has been receiving mixed feelings ahead of any gameplay details.

There are definitely some heavy hitters to present this year. With EA’s presentation out of the way and Bethesda’s on Sunday, it’ll be interesting to see what tricks Ubisoft has up their sleeves. Which of Ubisoft’s E3 presentations are you looking forward to most? What genre do you think the new IP will be in? Let us know in the comments section below.
