Release Date for the Sci-Fi Game “Tacoma” Officially Revealed for the Xbox One (VIDEO)

Tacoma

A brand new trailer for the puzzle-adventure title, Tacoma, has officially been released during Microsoft’s E3 2017 press conference. After a previous trailer reveal that gave audiences everywhere a sneak peek into this science-fiction wonderland, the beauty of this story unfolds a little more. Gamers get a chance to see the more surreal side to the world. Check out the 4K trailer below:

Set in a futuristic world and taking place inside a deep space station, this story involves the player trekking through the environment to find clues and solve puzzles. It also appears that in the trailer, the other non-playable characters are entirely A.I., with less than distinct features that don’t draw away from the beauty of the surroundings. The game involves gravity-defying mechanics, allowing the player to float, fly, and bounce around the station as need be.

It appears that these puzzle solving missions may have a bit more at stake than what the soothing atmosphere of the trailer may let on. As fans can see in the trailer, the gamer appears to be trapped on the Tacoma station, with only the system’s digitized A.I. units to help figure out how to escape safely. The trailer doesn’t show any intense action sequences, however, so it seems that Fullbright developers have created a puzzle-solving experience that is both mind-bending and therapeutic. The official release date for Tacoma has been revealed to be August 2nd, 2017 so make sure to get those pre-orders in soon!
