Total War: Three Kingdoms DLC Eight Princes Releases This Week (VIDEO)

Total War: Three Kingdoms

Total War: Three Kingdoms has been out for over two months now, and this week we will see the third DLC being released for Sega’s latest installment for their turn-based strategy series. While the first two DLC focused on the current affairs in the campaign, Eight Princes will set its sights on a generation after the main characters seen in the main storyline – to see where the pieces have fallen. Take a look at the release trailer below:

As a fan of both Total War titles and Dynasty Warriors, we are extremely excited for the release of this DLC – as it will mention many of the well-known characters. They will include Sima Yong, Sima Jiong, Sima Yue, Sima Ai, Sima Ying, Sima Lun, Sima Liang, and Sima Wei. All of the new protagonists have their own roles to play in the upcoming storyline, which includes class, playstyle focus, and unique units specifically for each faction.

Below is a list of new additions that we will see with the release of Eight Princes for Total War: Three Kingdoms, via Steam:

  • New campaign set 100 years after the Three Kingdoms period began
  • Eight new playable princes with substantially different playstyles…
  • Supported by unique buildings, assignments and court options
  • New elite units: pummel your foe with mighty cataphracts!
  • Shape your faction development with four new alignments: Wealth, Spirit, Might, and Mind
  • Key public order and faction-rank changes to reflect this unique conflict
