Tokyo Ghoul:Re Call To Exist Announced For PlayStation 4, Release Window Confirmed
Fellow ghouls are in for a treat with this sweet reveal. Bandai Namco announced a video game title for the popular anime series, Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist alongside a release window. The game will make its debut later this year for PlayStation 4, according to the latest issue of a Japanese magazine publication, V-Jump. Check out the visual spotlight below:
Thanks to the fine folks over at Gematsu, Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist is described as an action-survival game that features “flashy action with beautiful graphics”. Players will make use of their Kagune or Quinque depending on your role as ghoul or investigator respectively, and features online play as well. Duke it out on a battlefield with other players on one of two aforementioned teams, or participate in co-op gameplay with a friend.
Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist plans to debut Winter 2018 in Japan for the PlayStation 4, but none have been revealed for worldwide release. However, Bandai Namco did trademark an eerily similar name on EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) titled “CALL to EXIST”. That’s pretty solid evidence, but that leaves North America out of the picture. At least for now anyway.
Here’s to hoping they keep fans on the other side of the globe in on the anime video game action! Do you want to see this in the United States and Canada? If so, subbed or dubbed?
