Game in Style With These New Xbox One Controllers – Here’s When to Get Them
One’s experience while gaming comes down to which title they are play, the console on which it is being played, and right down to the accessories. One such peripheral that can be customized to practically no end are the Xbox One controllers. With a plethora of styles to choose from, as well as creating your own with the Xbox Design Lab, there’s no stopping anyone from enjoying their experience the way they seem fit.
In a recent update from Xbox Wire, it was revealed that three new Xbox One controllers will be on the way, with a couple of them arriving very soon. The Green/Grey color scheme, while not officially affiliated with Overwatch, is sure to please some of you Genji mains out there. Up next, the Volcano Shadow Special Edition is the latest addition to the Shadow series. With the matte black on top that fades into a reddish orange metallic look at the bottom, this version can easily be the highlight of anyone’s controller collection. Last up, the Patrol Tech Special Edition is the second in the Tech series “and is inspired by military technology and performance patterns found in airborne navy patrol units.” You can check them out in the photo at the top. Previously released in the gradient series included a teal and magenta coloured controllers:
As with any of the Xbox One controllers, these versions are equipped with Bluetooth technology for wireless play with your consoles. Also being released is a new Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10. This will be 66% smaller than the previous iteration, and it will allow up to eight controllers to be connected while gaming on Windows 10 PCs and tablets. Each controller and adapter will be available on microsoftstore.com as well as select retailers. Prices and release dates can be found below:
