The Witcher’s ‘Toss A Coin’ Song Gets An Epic Metal Cover (VIDEO)
I’m going to preface everything by saying that The Witcher Netflix series’ ‘Toss a coin to your witcher’ song has no right to be this damn catchy. Here we are, though, and fans have already begun to throw into the ring their own takes on much of the meme-worthy and catchy music to be found within the show’s first season. That’s right, that Britney Spears/Battle at Blaviken mash-up was just the beginning. Now, the state of things have only further escalated, and fans can now listen to an epic metal cover of ‘Toss a coin’ that’s just begging to get added to a person’s driving playlist.
Esteemed cover artist Dan Vasc released a metal cover of ‘Toss a coin’ over on his YouTube channel and, well, it’s pretty amazing. Implementing a few well-timed howls that would send Jaskier actor Joey Batey running for cover – or perhaps not, since he’s also a singer in his own right – brings the song to the next level and it’s an utter joy to behold. Check it out below:
It’s important to note that it’s been a mere weeks since Netflix’s The Witcher debuted on the streaming platform, and already it has folks scrambling to devour more from showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich and the rest of the crew. Thankfully it appears that we needn’t wait too long, as a podcast is coming soon with an animated series reportedly in development.
The first season of Netflix’s The Witcher series is now available on the streaming platform.
