The Witcher Netflix Series Gets A Hilarious New Blooper Reel (VIDEO)
The Witcher franchise is a gritty and dark experience whether the medium be the books, the video game series, or the Netflix show. Still, fans are able to catch some small glimpses of humor and other lighthearted content from time to time to break up the bleak and somber tones that make up the majority of the tales. Netflix’s The Witcher series has often done this in spectacular fashion, providing some humor such as the hilarious Christmas edit that was shown earlier this year. Now Netflix has released a hilarious new blooper reel showing off some wacky behind-the-scenes content from the first season of the show.
The video shows off all manner of silly shenanigans that the actors put up with – or dish out – while on set. The bloopers range from small accidents like dropping an apple or hitting the wrong target with a chain to actors unable to perform their lines properly, wiping their eyes, and needing to retake a shot due to the on-set horse unloading its bowels in the middle of a serious moment. One scene even sees Henry Cavill covered in oil proclaiming, “It moves by itself. I’m like a greased pig right now,” to which what we assume to be our beloved Jaskier actor exclaiming “a sexy greased pig!”
It’s good to see that the cast had fun while on set even when the show itself is oftentimes incredibly serious. The second season of Netflix’s The Witcher is currently slated for a release next year, though no official date has been set. There’s going to be a lot to look forward to between the new characters, more action, and maybe even some more bloopers.
