The Witcher’s Henry Cavill Provides Hopeful New Injury Update
Toss a thankful coin to your Witcher, because it looks like Henry Cavill is continuing on his path towards recovery following the injury he sustained while on the set of Netflix’s The Witcher series late last year. Not much in terms of official news came out of The Witcher camp when the injury happened, though Cavill has released a new status update confirming that he’s been hard at work to ensusre a successful recovering from his hamstring injury.
Henry Cavill recently took to his Instagram to release a new status update regarding his road to recovery. The post – which has already accumulated almost 2.4 million likes – describes Cavill’s daily early-morning routine, which involves getting up at 4:30am (bless his heart) to “get a few hours rehab in” before he starts his work day. “Some mornings are rough, but I do always get to see the dawn by the time I’m finishing up,” The Witcher star continues. “The snow made this one even more enjoyable, if not a touch chilly!”

As for season 2 of Netflix’s The Witcher series, last week it was reported that filming had resumed without Cavill while he continued to heal up from his injury. Given his mention of starting his ‘work day’ it appears that Cavill may be back on set in some capacity, though it may be too early to tell. The important thing is that his recovery appears to be going smoothly.
Season 2 of Netflix’s The Witcher series is expected to release later this year.
