Prepare yourselves for another emotionally exhausting and beautifully-crafted story by Naughty Dog. Easily one of the most anticipated sequels of this year, Naughty Dog is bringing out the big guns after the original game made its appearance in 2013. Though the launch of The Last of Us Part 2 is still a few painful months away, the studio and comic publishing powerhouse Dark Horse reveal a deluxe edition art book to alleviate the pains of waiting. Check out a few images below courtesy of Dark Horse:

The Art of The Last of Us Part 2 is already available for pre-order on Amazon, Barnes & Nobles, and local comic book shops for $39.99. It’s a thick hard-cover book of 200 full-color pages and is expected to release on June 17th, following the release of the game itself. As for the deluxe edition, the price jumps up to $89.99 and includes a few other exclusive additions.

“Created in collaboration between Dark Horse Books and the developers at Naughty Dog,” Dark Horse stated in a press release. “The Art of The Last of Us Part II offers extensive insights into the making of the long-awaited sequel to the award-winning The Last of Us. The Deluxe Edition also features an exclusive cover and slipcase, as well as a gallery-quality lithograph.”

Regardless of the edition you purchase, The Last of Us Part 2 art book is an “exhaustive collection” of original art and creator commentary on the imagination and work that went into creating Ellie’s personal journey.
