Persona 5 Scramble Trailer Reveals New Phantom Thief, Upcoming Demo, And More (VIDEO)

It looks like the Phantom Thieves are getting a new member! The folks over at Atlus released its final Morgana Travel Guide video as part of its hype-up for the upcoming Persona 5 sequel, Persona 5 Scramble. In the video, our beloved feline companion goes over a multitude of topics, showing off game locations Kyoto and Osaka, announcing a playable demo, and revealing a brand new Phantom Thief to the world. Keep in mind, there are spoilers for Persona 5 Scramble below:

Atlus took to YouTube to show off loads of info regarding the latest new member of the Phantom Thieves for Persona 5 Scramble. The new Phantom Thief in question is a new character named Zenkichi Hasegawa, who just so happens to be a police investigator. The character’s awakening scene can be seen about 3:20 into the video, below:

According to the video, Zenkichi Hasegawa’s alias as a Phantom Thief is ‘Wolf’ and his Persona is called Barjan. Hasegawa dual-wields two guns and fights with a massive sword, which seems a bit reminiscent of a certain Devil May Cry character. Hasegawa’s Persona utilizes Gun attribute skills, Almighty attribute skills, and can also buff his allies.

During the video, Morgana also announces that a demo for Persona 5 Scramble is set to launch on February 6th on both the Japanese Nintendo Eshop and the Japanese PlayStation Store. There’s still no word on when those of us in the West can try out the demo for ourselves, though it shouldn’t take too long after the title’s release in the East for it to happen.

Persona 5 Scramble is slated to launch in Japan on February 20th for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
