Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Hyper-Realistic Fan Art Created By God of War Art Director

The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate craze has shown no signs of stopping since the title released late last year, and fans are happier than ever sinking hours and hours into the Nintendo brawler despite some recent hiccups. One fan recently expressed their love for the Smash Bros. series by creating some impressive fan art. This fan also just so happens to be God of War’s art director, Raf Grassetti.

Raf Grassetti has recently been creating some phenomenal artwork depicting Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fighters over on his Instagram. The depictions are amid several of his other works, many of which are of course from the latest God of War game, and his take on many Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fighters lends a more realistic feel to the characters. Check some of them out below:

The above pieces are part of Grassetti’s ‘Smash Bros Remastered’ art series, and many fans have been praising the artist for injecting some realism into some of their favorite characters. Here’s hoping he takes suggestions, as there are plenty of other characters in the roster to draw!

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is now available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
