Super Mario Odyssey Will Be Playable at E3 for the Nintendo Switch
Nintendo recently revealed more detailed plans for E3 this year and it will included a playable Super Mario Odyssey. On June 13th at 5 PM BST/9AM PDT, there will be a Nintendo Switch games spotlight that will include the before-mentioned title. Aside from the presentation trailer of their latest game that was released a few months ago, not much has been said in part of it. However, it has been advertised as a “sandbox-style” adventure game where Mario will get to travel between several different three-dimensional worlds.
Mario embarks on a new journey through unknown worlds, running and jumping through huge 3D worlds in the first sandbox-style Mario game since Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine. Set sail between expansive worlds aboard an airship, and perform all-new actions, such as throwing Mario’s cap.
After the end of the video game spotlight, there will be a Nintendo Treehouse presentation where live gameplay on the Nintendo Switch and 3DS will be showcased alongside the members and developers. This will give fans and gamers a chance to hear what they have to say in regards to their work and development. More details and information will be divulged in regards to current and upcoming projects. There will also be live tournaments going on throughout the 13th and 14th of June. Live broadcasts of the Splatoon 2 World Inkling Invitational will be shown at their booth as well.
